I am a native Fijian, retired civil servant of the Govt of Fiji, a crop agronomist, graduated with Masters in Agronomy from the University of Queensland, Australia under the AUSAid scholarship(1994-96) graduated in 2003, B.SC (Ag) Poona Agricultural University, 1976-1980, Diploma in Tropical Agriculture, Fiji 1972-74.
    I specialise in coconuts, rice, root crops, kava, ginger, vegetables, cocoa, the agronomy and cultural practices in Pacific Tropical climatic zones. I also did market surveys in Hawaii, Los Angeles for Taro.

      I regret that we do not have more members from the Pacific Basin but certainly do encourage whatever participation you can manage with the group.

  2. Can you consider any Pacific consultancies in any of the tropical crops such cocoa, coconuts, root crops, ginger, rice in any research programmes and consultancies.
